READING INCENTIVE

Hello Parents,

This year in my classroom, we will participate in the "Book - It" reading incentive program sponsored by Pizza Hut. It will begin in October and end in March. Each month your child will be given a Reading Incentive Chart to record his/her books that you read to or with them. The monthly minimum quota for our class will be 6 books. The completed form must be returned to me by the last "school day" of the month.

This is an encouraging program both for you and your child. My hope is that reading will be enhanced within your home/environment and that you all will obtain and/or maintain a shared joy for reading and books!

I look forward to the reading charts being returned completed and to the enthusiasm displayed by your child upon its return. There will be a monthly reward for each completed form returned (A free Pizza Hut certificate: Personal Pan Pizza & Button). If your child completes all 6 monthly charts, he/she will receive a "SPECIAL CERTIFICATE & PRIZE"!!! So, get busy and .....READ..READ..READ!
